Credit Union Core Conversion


Change isn’t a bad thing!

To continue to better serve your financial needs, we will be changing our core system to a new and improved platform. This change is necessary to ensure we are bringing the most advanced financial services to our members.

As with most major system changes, there may be some un-planned service interruptions. We apologize in advance for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and patience during this process.


Important Dates to Remember:

  • Friday, May 31st – Office closes at 3pm, ATM & Debit Cards will have decreased limits, Online Banking will be off-line

  • Saturday, June 1st – Office will be closed, ATM & Debit Cards will have decreased limits, Online Banking will be off-line

  • Sunday, June 2nd – Office will be closed, ATM & Debit Cards will have decreased limits, Online Banking will be off-line

  • Monday, June 3rd – Normal office hours resume, ATM & Debit Cards and Online Banking on-line

Countdown to Conversion:

  • This system change is to bring you the most advanced technology as it promises improved security and enhanced services. Upgrading to newer technology provides us with a stronger, more reliable, and more efficient system today as well as the ability to improve in the future.

  • To facilitate this complex change, we will be closing at 3pm Friday, May 31st and closed Saturday, June 1st.

    Online banking will also be unavailable starting at 3pm Friday, May 31st through Sunday, June 2nd.

    We will reopen with our new system on June 3rd.

  • This will not affect your accounts in any way, other than an extended credit union closure from 3pm on Friday, May 31st through Sunday, June 2nd. The office will reopen on Monday, June 3rd with normal hours.

    During the closure, online banking will be unavailable. However, your debit and credit cards will continue to work.

    Your account numbers will not change, so no action is required on your part.

    We do kindly ask that you be prepared to present a photo ID when you visit the branch on or after June 3rd so that we can make sure your information is up to date in our new system.

  • No, your existing account number(s) will remain the same on the new system.

  • Our ATM will continue to function during the conversion.

    ATM and Debit Card holders will continue to be able to withdraw from ATMs and make purchases although limits will be reduced.

    We encourage you to make arrangements for your cash before 3pm Friday, May 31st.

  • No. Online Banking will be unavailable from approximately 3:00 pm on Friday, May 31 until Monday, June 3.

    Your logon credentials will remain the same. You will NOT be required to re-enroll June 3rd for Online Banking.

  • You will not be required to re-enroll for online banking.

    Please always log in through our website at www.nwmrcu.org.

  • Yes, we will continue to maintain the industry best practices and keep member security top of mind throughout this change. For peace of mind, we encourage you to review statements before, during and after conversion to ensure accounts are as they should be.

  • All direct deposits, ACH transfers, or automatic payments will continue as scheduled.

  • No, the check information will remain the same.

  • No, all ATM, debit and credit cards and their PINs will remain the same. Do keep in mind, ATM and debit cards move to offline processing at 3PM on Friday, May 31st until the new system goes live on Monday, June 3rd. During this time, new transactions will be delayed in posting to your account. Large purchases could be denied while in offline processing due to the use of stand-in limits while the system is down. Please remember to balance your account prior to conversion and keep a register to avoid overdrafts.
